The Consecrated Mind encounter in Destiny 2 is overwhelming at first, but there are designated roles that can be applied to make the process a bit easier to follow. There are many weapons, including Season of the Lost weapons , to choose from for this encounter. The build-up to the damage phase is precise and requires a lot of enemies to be defeated first, so be sure to bring weapons that can easily accomplish this. For the team that has Riven spawn in first, dodge her tentacle swing and fire breathing attacks. While dodging, shoot the tentacle and the inside of her mouth to get her to flinch. The Destiny 2 ‘s Xenophage Exotic Machine Gun is a great choice for making Riven flinch throughout the Last Wish raid. When Riven flinches, her outer shell will open up to reveal her eyes. Two of the ten eyes will be glowing, and it’s up to this team to remember and call out which eyes are glowing for the other team. While the Conflux Team hunts for motes, the Boss Team will be following the Consecrated Mind. It will head down one of those four paths, Front, Back, Left, or Right. Once it reaches the end, the Consecrated Mind will create the Voltaic Overflow effect. In anticipation of this, each team member from the Boss Team needs to have a designated starting and rotational position, and here’s why. When the Consecrated Mind creates the Voltaic Overflow effect it will always spawn it in the center. That first center-teammate grabs the effect, and when the Consecrated Mind flashes lights the affected teammate will be able to see either the outer circles or inner circles light up red. The other two Destiny 2 Guardians see both sets of lights, so it’s up to the Voltaic Overflow teammate to communicate “inner” or “outer” for the correct lights to shoot. Before starting the encounter, divide the team up into two teams of three. One team will become the Conflux Team, and the other is the Boss Team. If you want to get this challenge done quickly, use a Duskfield Grenade. Throw a Duskfield at an Overload Champion, then stun them. They’ll repeatedly get stunned, resetting their Overload status. Keep stunning the Overload Champion until the grenade goes away. You can equip Resonance Siphon in your class item to get your Duskfield back when you stun something twice, allowing you to repeat this process until the Champion dies or the challenge is finis
